We spent the 4th at Gramma and Poppa's house in Wenatchee. It is fun to get away and play with cousins. The kids all enjoyed watching the fireworks over the Columbia River.
I love the Fourth of July. It is a great holiday. I love all the fun with family and friends with no pressure of buying gifts or cooking the perfect turkey. Hot dogs rule and it's OK to spit your watermelon seeds. The best part of the fourth is that it is followed the next day by my birthday.
I am so thankful to live in America. We are blessed to be able to worship God freely, as we wish. May God continue to bless our country and hold it in His hand.
